Julie's whoopsie pies ingredients
- WHOOPSIE PIES
- 1⁄2 c Shortening
- 1 c Sugar
- 2 egg, yolks, beaten
- 5 T Cocoa
- 2 c flour, sifted all-purpose
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 t Soda
- 1 t Salt
- 1 c Milk
- 1 t vanilla
- FILLING
- 3⁄4 c Shortening
- 3⁄4 c Confectioners sugar
- 1 c Marshmallow fluff
- 1⁄4 t Salt
- 1 t vanilla
Cooking Julie's whoopsie pies
1. For the filling: cream shortening and sugar with the marshmallow fluff; stir in salt and vanilla.
2. For the pies: cream the shortening and sugar; beat egg yolks into creamed mixture.
3. Mixi together and sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture alternately with milk.
4. Stiri in vanilla.
