Jiffy Tamale Pie Casserole ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 c water
- 1 1⁄4 c ALBERS® Yellow or White Corn Meal
- 1 c Whole-kernel corn
- 2 pk ORTEGA® Frozen Beef Taco Filling
- 1⁄2 c Shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 bo ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
- 1 bo Sliced ripe olives
Cooking Jiffy Tamale Pie Casserole
1. PREHEAT oven to 425° F. Greasei 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
2. COOK water and corn meal in medium saucepan, stirring frequently, until thick.
3. Stiri in corn; spread mixture onto bottom of prepared baking dish.
4. PLACE frozen taco filling on top of corn meal mixture, cheese side up; sprinkle with cheese, chiles and olives.
5. BAKE for 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
