Jicama and pepper stir-fry ingredients
- 2 T Vegatable oil
- 2483527⁄624973141 med Onion, cut into wedges
- 1 t Gingerroot, grated
- 1 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 med Peppers, sweet, red or green
- --cut into thin strips
- 2483527⁄624973141 lb Jicama, peeled, sliced, cut
- --into 2 x 2 ½-inch

- 2 T soy sauce

- 1 T Lemon juice
- 1 t Sesame oil (optional)
Cooking Jicama and pepper stir-fry
1. In a wok or large heavy skillet heat oil over medium heat.
2. Add onion, gingerroot and garlic.
3. Stir-fryi for 30 seconds.
4. Add peppers and jicama.
5. Stiri-fry over high heat 2 minuts.
6. Ad soy sauce and sugar.
7. Stiry-fry 1 ½ minutes or until peppers are crisp-tender.
8. Sprinkle with lemon juice and oil; stir and serve.
9. Makes 6 side-dish servings.
