Jewish Apple Cake 2 ingredients
- 3 c flour
- 2 1⁄2 c Sugar
- 1 c Apple sauce
- 4 Eggs
- 1⁄3 c Orange juice
- 2 1⁄2 t vanilla
- 3 t Baking soda
- 6 Granny Smith apples
- 2 t Cinnamon
- 5 T Sugar
Cooking Jewish Apple Cake 2
1. Beat together the first 7 ingredients until smooth.
2. peel and thinly slice apples.
3. Add sugar and cinnmaon to the apples.
4. put a thin layer of batter on the bottom of a prepared tube pan, then a layer of apples, more batter, more apples and top off with remaining batter.
5. Bakei at 350 F for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
6. ( you may want to put a layer of alumium foil over the top during the last 15 minutes of baking to avoid too much browning.
