Jerk marinade ingredients

  • 1 Onions, finely chopped
  • 1⁄2 c Scallion, finely chopped
  • 2 t Ground thyme
  • 1 t Salt
  • 2 t Sugar
  • 1 t Allspice
  • 1⁄2 t Ground nutmeg
  • 1 Hot pepper, finely ground
  • 1 t Black pepper
  • 3 T soy sauce
  • 1 T Cooking oil
  • 1 T Vinegar

Cooking Jerk marinade

1. Mixi together all the ingredients.
2. A food processor fitted with a steel blade is ideal for chopping and grinding.
3. This will provide an excellent marinade for chicken, beef, or pork.
4. Store leftover marinade in the refrigerator in a tightly closed jar for about 1 month.
