Javanese pork saute ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 lb pork Loin, Boneless
  • 1⁄2 c Onion, minced
  • 2 T Peanut butter
  • 2 T Lemon juice
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 1 T Brown sugar
  • 1 T Vegatable oil
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • Ds Hot pepper sauce
  • rice, cooked, hot
  • Raita
  • 3 med Cucumbers, peel, seed, thin Sliced
  • 1 T Onion, minced
  • 2 c Plain Yogurt
  • 1⁄2 t Black pepper
  • 1⁄4 t Cumin
  • 2 T Cilantro, chopped

Cooking Javanese pork saute

1. Make raita by combining ingredients.
2. Cover and chill for 2-24 hours to combine flavors.
3. Cut pork into ½" cubes; place in shallow dish.
4. In blender or food processor combine remaining ingredients except rice and raita.
5. Blend until smooth.
6. Pour over pork.
7. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 10 minutes.
8. Thread pork on skewers (if using bamboo skewers, soak in water 1 hour to prevent burning).
9. Grilli or broil 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until done.
10. Serve with hot cooked rice and raita, if desired.
