Italian ziti medley ingredients
- 1⁄2 lb Italian sausage *
- 1 c Sliced Mushrooms
- 1⁄3 c Chopped onion
- 2 1⁄4 c Milk
- 1⁄2 c butter Or margarine
- 1 c Green pepper strips
- 1⁄3 c All-purpose flour
- 8 oz Cheddar cheese shredded
- 1⁄2 c Grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz Cut Ziti - uncooked
- 1⁄2 t Pepper
Cooking Italian ziti medley
1. * sliced into coins in 4-quart saucepan, brown sausage.
2. Remove from pan and drain off fat. Melt butter and cook mushrooms, pepper and onion until tender but not brown.
3. Blend flour into vegetable mixture.
4. Gradually stir in milk.
5. Cook, stirring consstantly over med-low heat until mixture begins to boil.
6. Boil and stir 1 minute.
