Italian Sausage Pizza

Italian Sausage Pizza ingredients
- 1 lb Mild Italian Sausage
- 1 c Chopped onion
- 1 c Green Pepper
- 4 oz mushroom pieces -- drained
- 8 oz Tomato sauce
- 1⁄2 c water
- 1 pk Hot roll mix
- 2 1⁄2 c shredded monterey jack cheese -- (10 oz.)
Cooking Italian Sausage Pizza
1. Heat oven to 425 F. Greasei 15-10 jelly roll pan. Remove casing from sausage in large skillet, brown sausage with onion and green pepper; cook until vegetables are just tender.
2. Drain; stir in mushrooms.
3. Remove from heat.
4. In small saucepan, heat 1/2 cup tomato sauce and water until warm (105-115 F). Reserve remaining tomato sauce for topping.
5. In large bowl, dissolve yeast from hot roll mix in warm tomato sauce and water.
6. Stiri in hot roll mix flour mixture; blend well.
7. With greased fingers, press out dough in prepared pan, forming rim around edge.
8. Spread reserved tomato sauce over dough; sprinkle with cheese.
9. Layer prepared sausage and vegetable mixture over cheese.
10. Bakei at 425 f. for 20-25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
11. Makes 6 servings.
