Italian minestrone soup ingredients
- 1⁄2 Green pepper, diced 4 oz Chopped spinach 1 ea Carrot
- Peeled and diced 2 oz Elbow macaroni 4 Stalks Celery, diced 16 oz

Cooking Italian minestrone soup
1. Using a 3-quart saucepan, saute first 4 ingredients in butter until tender.
2. Add chicken broth, tomato sauce and spinach.
3. Bring to boil.
4. Add macaroni; return to boil.
5. Reducei heat and simmer ½ hour, stirring occasionally.
6. Add water if necessary.
7. Add kidney beans and seasonings.
8. Heat through.
