Italian cream cake 2 2 ingredients
- 2 c Sugar
- 1 c margarine or butter
- 3 Eggs; separated
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 t Lemon juice
- 1 c buttermilk
- 2 c flour
- 1 t Baking soda
- 1⁄2 t Salt
- 2 c coconut
- 1 c Pecans; chopped
- Frosting
- 1 lb Powdered sugar;
- 1⁄2 c margarine or butter
- 3 oz Cream cheese
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 t Lemon juice
Cooking Italian cream cake 2 2
1. Creami together sugar and butter.
2. Add yolks, vanilla & lemon juice, mix well.
3. Add buttermilk, flour, soda & salt, mix well.
4. Add coconut and pecans.
5. Beat egg whites until stiff, fold into mixture.
6. Bakei in 9x13" pan, at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
7. Frosting: mix all ingredients and beat well.
