Islamorada Key Lime Pie ingredients

  • 1 cn Condensed milk
  • 6 Eggs; separated
  • 1⁄2 c Key lime juice
  • 1 T Cream of tartar
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1 10 pie crust
  • 1 Or 2 - 8 pie crust

Cooking Islamorada Key Lime Pie

1. Whipi together condensed milk and separated egg yolks until light and creamy at medium speed,about 8 minutes.
2. Add 1/2 cup lime juice.
3. Let rotate at low speed for about 1 second.
4. Foldi a few times with a rubber spatula.
5. Pour into baked pie shell.
6. Let stand.
7. Beat separated egg whites with cream of tartar for a full five minutes.
8. Add sugar.
9. Beat another full five minutes.
10. Spread on top of pie. Browni in oven at 350 degrees.
