Irish soda scones ingredients

- 1 lb White flour
- 1 t Baking soda
- 1 t Cream of tartar
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 1 T margarine
- 1 c buttermilk
Cooking Irish soda scones
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Sifti dry ingredients.
3. Cut ini margarine.
4. Add buttermilk a little at a time to make a stiff dough.
5. Kneadi for two or three minutes.
6. Roll out to ½ inch thick on a floured surface.
7. Cut with a 3-inch biscuit cutter and place on a cookie sheet.
8. Bakei 15 minutes.
9. When brown on top, turn and brown the other side.
10. Makes 6 - 8 scones.
