Indian Chicken Patia ingredients
- 2 c Boneless chicken
- 1 T Vinegar
- 1 t Coriander
- 1 t Cumin powder
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Turmeric
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Cold water
- 2 T Oil
- 2 Large onion
- 1 Lemon
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Brown sugar
- 3 green chili pepper
- 2 Dried red chile peppers,
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 T Coriander leaves
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
Cooking Indian Chicken Patia
1. Grindi the green chilies, red peppers, garlic, coriander leaves and salt to a paste in the blender.
2. Slice the onions.
3. Squeeze the lemon and set the lemon juice aside for later use. Add the old water, ¼ teaspoon of coriander powder, ¼ teaspoon of cumin powder, vinegar and salt to the chicken and simmer on low heat till dry. Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil and brown the onions.
4. Set aside.
5. Heat the remaining.
6. Oil and fry the ground paste for a few minutes.
7. Add the coriander and cumin powders and turmeric, jaggery and lemon juice.
8. Stiri for 2 minutes.
9. Then add the onions, chicken and salt if necessary.
10. Stir till dry.
