Hungry Jack Biscuit Bear Claws ingredients
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Orange marmalade
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Raisins
- 2 (12-oz)cans Hungry Jack
- Refrigerated buttermilk
- -flaky biscuits,
- Topping:
- 2483527⁄624973141 c sliced almonds
- 2 t Sugar
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Orange juice
Cooking Hungry Jack Biscuit Bear Claws
1. Heat oven to 375. Greasei a large cookie sheet.
2. In small bowl, combine cream cheese, marmalade and raisins; blend well.
3. Separate dough into 20 biscuits.
4. Press or roll each biscuit to a 4-inch circle.
5. Spoon 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture on center of 10 of the biscuits; top with remaining biscuits.
6. Press edges with fork to seal; cut five 1/2-inch slits, 1 inch apart,around 1 side of each biscuit to resemble a bear claw.
7. In small bowl, combine almonds and sugar.
8. Dip top of each biscuit in orange juice;sprinkle with almond mixture.
9. Place biscuits on greased cookie sheet.
10. Bakei at 375 for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
11. Cool 1 minute,remove from cookie sheet.
12. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
13. Store in refrigerator.
14. Makes 10 bear claws.
