Hot Buttered Mussels

Hot Buttered Mussels ingredients
- 2 part Mussels
- 4 oz butter
- Salt and pepper
- 2 T Chopped chives
Cooking Hot Buttered Mussels
1. Wash mussels thoroughly under running water.
2. Remove "beards" and discard any open shells.
3. Place mussels in pan and cook over a high temperature for 7 or 8 minutes, until the shells open.
4. Seasoni with salt or pepper.
5. Place in a serving dish and pour cooking juices over.
6. Dot with knobs of butter and sprinkle with chopped chives.
7. Serve with fresh brown bread and butter.
