Hot and Spicy Sausage Sauce over Linguine ingredients
- 2 t olive oil
- 8 oz Hot italian sausage links
- 1 Green or red bell pepper
- 1 bo pasta-ready chunky tomatoes
- 1 pk BUITONIĀ® refrigerated Linguine
- 1⁄4 c Grated Parmesan cheese
Cooking Hot and Spicy Sausage Sauce over Linguine
1. HEAT oil in large skillet.
2. Add sausage; cook, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink.
3. Drain.
4. ADD bell pepper; cook, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender.
5. Reducei heat to low. Stiri in tomatoes; cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes or until flavors are blended.
6. PREPARE pasta according to package directions.
7. Top with sauce; sprinkle with cheese.
8. FOR FREEZE AHEAD: PREPARE as above; do not prepare pasta.
9. Cover; freeze for up to 2 months.
10. Thaw overnight in refrigerator.
11. HEAT in medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
12. PREPARE pasta according to package directions.
13. Top with sauce; sprinkle with cheese.
