Great, healthy brownie recipe using carob instead of chocolate. Delicious.
Honey-Carob Brownies ingredients
- 1⁄2 c Melted butter
- 1 1⁄4 c Honey and Carob Spread
- 2 large eggs
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 1 c Whole wheat flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 t Salt
- 1⁄2 Chopped walnuts
Cooking Honey-Carob Brownies
Preheat oven to 350*F
Blend together melted butter, honey & carob spread in a bowl. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Add a sifted mixture of whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt; mix well.
Stiri in chopped walnuts. Pour into a greased 8-inch baking dish.
Bakei for 40 minutes. Cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
