Honey cake

Honey cake ingredients
- 3 Eggs
- 1⁄4 c Sugar
- 1⁄4 c soft margarine
- 2 1⁄2 c flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 t Baking soda
- 1⁄2 t Ground cinnamon
- 1⁄4 t Ground nutmeg
- 1⁄8 t Ground cloves
- 1⁄4 c Honey
- 1 c Cold strong coffee
- 1 Ripe banana, mashed
Cooking Honey cake
1. Beat the eggs until thck.
2. Ad the sugar gradually.
3. Beat in the margarine.
4. Stiri the flour, baking powder, soda, and spices together.
5. Add gradually to the creamed mixture with the honey and the coffee.
6. Beat until combined.
7. Add the banana.
8. Pour the batter into a lightly oiled and floured 10 inch tube pan or two 9 inch loaf pans.
9. Bakei in a 350°F oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
10. Remove fro mthe oven and cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes before removing frm the pan. Cool thoroughly before slicing.
11. Calories per serving (½4 of recipe): 93 calories note: the honey cake has 1 tsp of sugar per serving.
