Honey baked chicken #2 ingredients

  • 6 chicken breast halves
  • 1⁄2 cn flour
  • 1⁄2 t Pepper
  • 4 T butter
  • 1⁄4 c Honey
  • 1⁄4 c Lemon juice
  • 1 T soy sauce

Cooking Honey baked chicken #2

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Wash and drain the chicken.
3. Combine flour and pepper in a paper bag, then add chicken pieces.
4. Shake to coat well.
5. In a small saucepan, melt butter.
6. Pout half of it into a 9x13-inch shallow baking dish.
7. Place chicken in dish, turning to coat with butter, then leave skin-side down.
8. Bakei, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
9. To the butter remaining in saucepan, add rest of ingredients.
10. Warm, blending with a whisk.
11. At end of 30 minutes, turn chicken and pour honey mixture over top. Bake another 30 minutes, basting several times with sauce.
12. Good with this: rice cooked in chicken broth then finished with sweet butter and a goodly amount of chopped chives or parsley, plus simply dressed sliced tomatoes, and yellow squash and sweet corn.
