Hominy Grits ingredients

  • 4 c water
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1 c Instant Grits
  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
  • 1 roll Cheese (jalepeno or garlic)
  • 2483527⁄624973141 stick butter Or margarine
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 ds worchestershire sause
  • 1 ds Tabasco

Cooking Hominy Grits

1. Bring water and salt to a boil.
2. Add grits and cook until thickened.
3. Add shredded cheddar and shredded jalapeno or garlic cheese to the grits.
4. Stiri until cheese melts.
5. Add a little of the hot grits mixture to the beaten eggs, then mix the rest of eggs into grits.
6. Add Worcestershire and tobasco sauces.
7. Put into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bakei at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
8. You will know when they are done because they won't.
