Homemade V8 Juice ingredients
- 15 lb Fully ripe tomatoes;chopped
- 2 c Celery, chopped
- 3 large Onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves
- -minced/mashed
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar; or to taste
- 2 T Salt
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Pepper
- 2 t Prepared horseradish
- c Lemon juice
- -worcestershire to taste
Cooking Homemade V8 Juice
1. Over medium high heat bring the vegetables to a boil and boil gently for about 20 minutes.
2. In a covered blender (food processor) and a portion at a time process until smooth.
3. Straini and discard pulp.
4. Add seasonings and bring to just under boiling if canning, or chill and freeze.
5. Yield about 6 quarts.
