Hoarhound candy

Hoarhound candy ingredients
- 1 1⁄3 t Pressed hoarhound
- 1 1⁄4 c Boiling water
- 1⁄3 c White corn sirup
- 2 c Sugar
- 1⁄8 t Salt
Cooking Hoarhound candy
1. Pour water over hoarhound.
2. Allow to stand 10 minutes.
3. Straini.
4. Combine sugar, salt, sirup, and water from hoarhound.
5. Boil to soft crack stage (275 - 280°F).
6. Pour in thin sheet onto well-buttered baking sheet.
7. Mark into squares before candy hardens.
