Herbed chicken 2 ingredients
- 2 T margarine or butter
- 2 T Olive or vegetable oil
- 1⁄4 c Finely chopped onions
- 1⁄4 c Lemon juice
- 2 T worchestershire sause
- 1 1⁄2 t Chopped fresh or ½ dr basil leaves
- 3⁄4 t Chopped fresh or ¼ ts
- -Dried marjoram leaves
- 3⁄4 t Chopped fresh or ¼ ts
- Dried oregano leaves
- 2 large Cloves garlic, finely
- -chopped
- 1 3- to 3-½-pound
- -broiler-fryer Chicken
- -cut up
Cooking Herbed chicken 2
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Heat margarine and oil in rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, in oven until margarine is melted.
3. Stiri in remaining ingredients except chicken.
4. Place chicken in pan, turning to coat with herb mixture.
5. Arrange chicken pieces skin sides up. Bakei uncovered 30 minutes.
6. turn chicken.
7. Bake about 30 minutes longer or until juices run clear.
8. 6 servings; 345 calories per serving.
9. To microwave: place margarine and oil in rectangular microwavable dish, 12 x 7-½ x 2 inches.
10. Microwave uncovered on high 45 to 60 seconds or until margarine is melted.
11. Stir in remaining ingredients except chicken.
12. Place chicken in dish, turning to coat with herb mixture.
13. Arrange chicken, skin sides up and thickest parts to outside edges, in dish.
14. Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high 16 to 20 minutes, rotating dish ½ turn after 10 minutes, until juices run clear.
