Heart-Shaped Chocolate Chip Cookies

Heart-Shaped Chocolate Chip Cookies ingredients
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 t Baking soda
- 1⁄2 t Salt
- 1⁄2 c butter or margarine, softened (we recommend LAND O LAKES®)
- 1⁄2 c Packed brown sugar
- 1⁄3 c Granulated sugar
- 1 Large egg
- 1⁄2 t vanilla extract
- 1 3⁄4 c NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
Cooking Heart-Shaped Chocolate Chip Cookies
1. PREHEAT oven to 375° F. Greasei and wax paper-line 8 1/2 or 9-inch heart-shaped pan. COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
2. Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.
3. Beat in egg. Gradually add dry ingredients; beat well.
4. Stiri in 1 cup morsels; spread into prepared pan. BAKE for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.
6. MICROWAVE remaining 1 cup morsels in small, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; stir.
7. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth; spread over cookie.
8. Write with icing.
9. BAKING SHEET COOKIE VARIATION: PREHEAT oven to 375° F. Pat dough into 8-inch circle on ungreased baking sheet with floured hands.
10. Bakei for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
11. Cool completely on baking sheet on wire rack.
