Heartnut sausage ingredients

  • 1 c White bread crumbs
  • 1⁄4 c Softened margarine
  • 1 c Cooked rice
  • 1 1⁄2 c Chopped heartnuts (Juglans

  • 1⁄4 t Celery salt
  • 1 T worchestershire sause
  • 1⁄2 t Dry, crumbled sage
  • 1⁄4 t Dried thyme
  • 3 T Parsley, fresh or dried
  • 2 T Finely grated onions
  • 1⁄2 t Black pepper

Cooking Heartnut sausage

1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, tossing together to blend thoroughly.
2. Form into round patties, not too tightly packed.
3. Fryi quickly in hot oil on both sides so a light crust is formed.
