Heartnut sausage ingredients
- 1 c White bread crumbs
- 1⁄4 c Softened margarine
- 1 c Cooked rice
- 1 1⁄2 c Chopped heartnuts (Juglans

- 1⁄4 t Celery salt
- 1 T worchestershire sause
- 1⁄2 t Dry, crumbled sage
- 1⁄4 t Dried thyme
- 3 T Parsley, fresh or dried
- 2 T Finely grated onions
- 1⁄2 t Black pepper
Cooking Heartnut sausage
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, tossing together to blend thoroughly.
2. Form into round patties, not too tightly packed.
3. Fryi quickly in hot oil on both sides so a light crust is formed.
