Hashbrown Casserole ingredients

  • 2 c shredded American or cheddar cheese
  • 1 cn Cream Of chicken Soup -- undiluted
  • 1 c Sour cream
  • 1⁄2 c chopped onion -- up to 3/4
  • 1⁄2 c Chopped green pepper
  • 1⁄4 c butter, melted
  • 1⁄4 t Salt
  • 1⁄4 t Pepper
  • 1 32 oz. p frozen hash-brown potatoes -- thawed
  • 1 T butter
  • 2 c Crushed cornflakes

Cooking Hashbrown Casserole

1. Greasei 9x13 baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, mix cheese, soup, sour cream, onion, green pepper, 1/4 cup butter, salt and pepper.
3. Mixi well.
4. Foldi in potatoes.
5. Put in dish, mix cornflakes and 1 tbsp butter and sprinkle on top. Bakei at 350 degrees for one hour.
