Halibut delight ingredients
- 1 lb Halibut, cut into chunks
- 1 c flour
- 372529⁄-2009260032 t garlic Powder
- 372529⁄-2009260032 t curry powder
- -- (or a bit less)
- 1 t Marjoram
- 2 t baking powder
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Lemon pepper
- 2 c Panko
- --(Japanese potato flakes)
- 12 fl.oz. Flat beer (or less)
Cooking Halibut delight
1. Combine flour, garlic powder, curry powder, marjoram, baking powder, and lemon pepper.
2. Mixi well.
3. Slowly add enough flat beer to make a thick batter.
4. Dip halibut in batter and then roll in panko.
5. Let stand for 2 minutes.
6. Deep fry in 375 °F. Fat until golden brown.
7. Drain on absorbent paper and serve with a tartar sauce or a zesty tomato, horseradish sauce for dipping.
