Ground Turkey Burritos ingredients
- 1 lb Ground turkey or beef
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 1 large Green pepper, chopped
- 2 Chiles serranos (optional) Minced
- 1 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cn Refried beans
- 1 cn Chiles -- chopped
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Picante sauce
- 1 t Ground cumin
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Oregano
- 1 t Salt
- 1 dsp Cayenne
- 1 c monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 8 flour tortillas
Cooking Ground Turkey Burritos
1. Browni the turkey with onion, peppers and garlic.
2. Drain exces fat. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer about 10 minutes.
3. Let cool a bit so the mixture is a little firmer.
4. Warm the tortillas in the microwave or individually in a frying pan to soften.
5. Put a big spoonful in the center of each tortilla, top with some cheese, and wrap, folding the ends within.
6. Optional additions:black beans, corn, more chiles, rice, whatever you like.
