Grilled steak/tomatoes w/basil-garlic bread

Grilled steak/tomatoes w/basil-garlic bread ingredients
- 2 T-bone steaks, 1" thick or
- - Porterhouse
- 3 T olive oil
- 1 t basil, dried
- 2483527⁄624973141 t garlic Powder
- 8 oz French bread, loaf
- 6 sli Tomato, ¾" thick
- 2 T Parmesan cheese, grated
Cooking Grilled steak/tomatoes w/basil-garlic bread
1. Preparation time: 25 minutes combine oil, basil and garlic powder; reserve.
2. Place beef steaks on grid over medium coals.
3. Grilli steaks 10 to 14 minutes for rare (140 °F) to medium (160 °F).
4. , turning once.
5. Seasoni with salt and pepper, if desired.
6. Meanwhile cut bread in half lengthwise, and brush with 1 ½ tablespoons of the basil mixture, evenly on cut side of bread.
7. Brush remaining basil mixture on one side of each tomato slice.
8. About five minutes before steaks are done, place bread, cut side down and tomatoes, on grid with steaks; grill 2 to 3 minutes or until bread is golden brown and tomatoes are just heated through.
9. Cut bread diagonally into slices, so some of the seasoning is on each slice.
10. Carve steaks into thick slices.
11. Serve with bread and tomato slices.
