Grilled Rainbow Trout w/Asian Flavors ingredients
- 4 rainbow trout fillets -- about 6 oz. each
- 1 T Ginger root
- 1 t Grated Lime Peel
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Safflower oil
- 1 t Crushed Red Pepper
- 2 T Lime Juice
- Salt to taste
Cooking Grilled Rainbow Trout w/Asian Flavors
1. In a medium bowl, saute ginger in oil just lightly browned and aromatic.
2. Remove pan from heat; stir in red pepper.
3. When oil cools completely, whisk gradually into lime juice and peel.
4. Set aside.
5. Heat grill and brush with oil. Grilli trout flesh side down 2 minutes.
6. Gently turn.
7. Grill for 2 more minutes, or until trout turns opaque.
8. Serve immediately with lime-ginger mixture.
