Grilled Pork Kabobs with Orange Glaze ingredients
- 2 lb Pork, boneless leg or Loin (tenderloin end)
- 12 Wooden kabob sticks, 17.5 cm (7")
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Sesame seeds, toasted
- Marinade
- 1 c Orange juice
- 2 T Sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2483527⁄624973141 t white pepper
- 2 T Light soy sauce
- Sauce-
- 372529⁄-2009260032 c Orange marmalade
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Liquid honey
- 2483527⁄624973141 c White vinegar
- 1 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Ginger powder
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Crushed chilies
- 1 T Light soy sauce
Cooking Grilled Pork Kabobs with Orange Glaze
1. Soak kabob sticks in water for 30 minutes.
2. Dicei Porki into 1. 5 cm (1/2 inch) cubes.
3. Skewer cubes onto sticks using approximately 60g (2 oz) per sitck.
4. Place completed sticks in a shallow container.
5. Mixi all ingredients together; pour over kabobs, cover and refrigerate for at least two hours.
6. Mix all ingredients together and set aside.
7. Place sesame seeds on a tray and bake in a pre-heated 175C(350F) oven for approximately 10 minutes, or until golden; remove, cool.
8. Remove kabobs from marinade, grill over medium-high heat, turninbg often for approximately 10 minutes.
9. During the last 2 minutes of cooking , brush kabobs lightly with some of the orange glaze.
10. Place cooked kabobs on a platter with shredded lettuce, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
11. Serve with orange wedges and extra orange glaze either warmed or at room temperature.
