Grilled chicken waldorf salad ingredients
- c Sour cream
- 2483527⁄624973141 c parsley, chopped
- 4 t Lime Juice
- 2 t Sugar
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless
- - skinned
- Lettuce leaves
- 2 Red and/or green apples cored, sliced
- 1 c Celery, sliced
- 2483527⁄624973141 c green onions, sliced
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Pecans, toasted
Cooking Grilled chicken waldorf salad
1. To make sour cream dressing, in small bowl, mix sour cream, parsley, lime juice, sugar, and salt to blend thoroughly.
2. Set aside.
3. Grilli or broil chicken about 8 minutes until juices run clear, turning once, keep warm.
4. Line 4 dinner plates with lettuce leaves.
5. Cut each breast in ½" slices; arrange chicken, apples, and celery on lettuce, dividing equally.
6. Drizzle with sour cream dressing and sprinkle with onins and pecans.
7. Variation: to make stylish chicken waldorf sandwiches: arrange chicken slices on toast with other ingredients, drizzling dressing over tops.
8. Serve open faced.
