Green Shrimp Soup ingredients

  • 1 med Onions
  • 1 large Carrot (about 5 oz)
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 t butter
  • 3 c Meat broth, hot
  • 1 t Savory (fresh, chopped fine)
  • 1 t tarragon (fresh, chopped fine)
  • 1 lb Peas (cooked in lightly salted water)
  • 5 oz Shrimp (deveined, cooked and cut into small pieces)
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c White wine, dry
  • 2 t Cream
  • 1 c Champagne (demi sec)

Cooking Green Shrimp Soup

1. Chopi the onion and carrot finely.
2. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the vegetables for 5 minutes stirring continuously.
3. Add the hot meat broth.
4. Boil for 10 minutes.
5. Add savory, tarragon and peas.
6. Bring to a boil and let cook for 8 minutes.
7. Straini the soup and put it back into the pan. Add shrimp.
8. Simmeri 5 minutes on medium heat.
9. (Be sure the soup is not boiling.
10. ) Add white wine and cream.
11. Take from the heat.
12. Seasoni if necessary.
13. Add champagne and serve immediately.
