Green Pea Kachori
This recipe is made by peas and wholewheat flour by deep frying.
Green Pea Kachori ingredients
- 250 g Wholewheat flour
- 1⁄4 g Teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 g Cumin seeds
- 1⁄2 g Aniseeds
- 6 tsp vegetable oil plus extra for deep frying
- 1 g fresh green chilli seeded and chopped
- 2 1⁄2 cg piece fresh root ginger ,grated
- 60 g frozen peas,thawd
Cooking Green Pea Kachori
Sifti flour aside,covered with the a dry cloth.Heat a frying pan,add cumin seeds and aniseed and dry fry for 1/2-1 minute ,until beginning to pop ,then grind with a sorter and pestle,Heat oil in pan ,add ground spices,chili and ginger and fry for 2 minutes.Mash peas ,then add to pan and cook for 1 minutes more.Leave to cool ,then divide dough into 12 pisses and roll into balls.Make a depression in each dough ball,press in about 1 teaspoon filling and smooth over dough to seal.Roll each ball out on a lightly floured surface to 7.5 cm round .Half fill a deep -fat pan or firer with oil and heat on 90C or until a cube of day old bread browns in 40 seconds Fryi 2 kachori at a time for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown .Serve warm
