Green beans with mushrooms ingredients
- 2 lb Green beans, fresh, 1"pieces
- 1 t Salt
- 3 oz Mushrooms, sliced canned
- 3 c water, salted, boiling
- 1 t Sugar
- 1⁄2 c butter, melted
Cooking Green beans with mushrooms
1. Place beans in saucepan containing boiling walted water.
2. Add salt and sugare.
3. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes; drain.
4. Sautei mushrooms in butter and add to beans.
5. Nancy o"brion note: food exchange per serving: 1 vegetable exchange + 1 fat exchange (nancy o"s note: ½ cup of butter i sure would use margarine and would, for sure, cut back on it even though i switched to margarine make it work.
