Greek Easter Cookies

Greek Easter Cookies ingredients
- 2 1⁄4 c flour
- 1 1⁄4 t baking powder
- 1⁄4 t Salt
- 1⁄2 c butter, softened
- 1 c Powdered sugar;
- 1 Eggs
- 2 T brandy or Milk
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 Egg yolks
- 1 T Milk beaten together
- 3 T Sesame seeds
Cooking Greek Easter Cookies
1. In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt and set aside.
2. In a large bowl combine butter and sugar, beating until fluffy.
3. Add egg, brandy, vanilla and beat well after each addition.
4. Add flour mixture / cup at a time blending will after each addition.
5. Roll 1 teaspoon of dough on a lightly floured surface into a 6 inch rope, fold in half and twist 2 or 3 times, pinch ends together.
6. Place 1 inch apart on 3 greased cookie sheets.
7. Brush with egg/milk mixture.
8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
9. Bakei 10-13 minutes in a preheated 375oF oven until golden.
10. Cool on rack.
11. Store in an air tight container at room temperature.
12. Makes 4/ dozen cookies.
