Grapefruit-Mint Sorbet ingredients

  • 1 c water
  • 1⁄2 c Sugar
  • 1⁄2 c Fresh mint leaves OR
  • 1⁄4 c Dried mint leaves
  • 2 large Pink grapefruit
  • Mint leaves, for garnish

Cooking Grapefruit-Mint Sorbet

1. Make a syrup by combining the water & sugar in a non-corrosive pot. Bring to a boil.
2. Simmeri for 5 minutes.
3. Remove from the heat, add the mint leaves & let steep for 20 to 25 minutes.
4. Straini the syrup & discard the mint leaves.
5. Juice the grapefruits & measure out 1 c of juice.
6. When the syrup has cooled, combine with the grapefuit juice.
7. Freeze following the instructions for making Lemoni Sorbeti.
8. Garnishi with the additional mint leaves.
