Grapefruit vinaigrette ingredients

  • 1 Ruby grapefruit (about ΒΌ Cup) -- juice only
  • 1 Lemon (juice only)
  • 1 Orange (about 2 tablespoons)
  • Juice only
  • 1 t Sugar
  • 1 T Grapefruit zest
  • 2 T Champagne wine vinegar
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Corn oil
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Grapefruit vinaigrette

1. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, reduce the citrus juices and sugar to 2 tablespoons.
2. Transfer to a mixing bowl, and add the zest and champagne vinegar.
3. Whiski together while drizzling in the combined oils, and add the salt.
4. Makes about 1 cup. Serve with black-eyed pea-crab salad.
