Gr round stuffed peppers

Gr round stuffed peppers ingredients
- 6 Medium green peppers
- 1⁄3 c Chopped onion
- 1 lb Can stewed tomatoes
- 2 T worchestershire sause
- 1 c Shredded sharp American Ch
- 1 lb Ground steak
- 1 T Fat
- 3⁄4 c Packaged precooked rice
- 1 Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Gr round stuffed peppers
1. Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds and membrane.
2. Precook green-peppers in boiling salted water about 5 min. drain.
3. Sprinkle inside with salt.
4. Browni meat and onion in hot fat; add tomatoes, rice, worcester shire, and salt and pepper to taste.
5. Cover and simmer till rice is almost tender, about 5 min. add cheese.
6. Stuff peppers; stand upright in 10 x 6 inch baking dish.
7. Bakei uncovered in moderate oven 350 deg. 25 min. or till hot. Sprinkle tops with additional shredded cheese.
8. Makes 6 servings.
