Gourmet Glazed Nuts ingredients

  • 2 c water
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar
  • 2 c Peanuts
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c butter or margarine, melted
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Pecan halves

Cooking Gourmet Glazed Nuts

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
2. Spray a large jelly roll pan with vegetable cooking spray.
3. Boil water; add nuts.
4. Cook and stir for one minute; drain.
5. Rinse a couple of times with hot water.
6. Drain on paper towels.
7. Transfer nuts to baking pan. Sprinkle nuts with sugar; stir to mix, but do not dissolve sugar.
8. Spread nuts in a single layer.
9. Drizzle with butter.
10. Bakei for 15 minutes; stir well and bake another 10 to 15 minutes or until evenly toasted.
11. Remove with slotted spoon when cool.
12. Sprinkle lightly with salt.
13. Store in refrigerator in a tightly covered container.
14. Makes a great gift.
