Glazed sweet potatoes ingredients

  • 2 1⁄2 lb Fresh sweet potatoes
  • 1⁄4 c margarine
  • 2 T Brown sugar, packed to
  • -measure.
  • 2 T Sweet'n Low brown sugar
  • -substitute
  • 1⁄2 c Pecans, chopped

Cooking Glazed sweet potatoes

1. Cut sweet potatoes in half crosswise.
2. Place in large pot with lightly salted water to cover.
3. Bring to a boil and boil until tender, about so minutes.
4. Drain preheat oven to 350 degrees.
5. When potatoes are cool enough to handle, cut crosswize in ¼ slices.
6. Spray 1 ½ quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
7. Place half the potatoes in the baking dish, top with margarine, half brown sugar and half the sweet" n low brown.
8. Repeat.
9. Top with chopped pecans.
10. Bakei 20 - 25 minutes or until pecans begin to brown.
11. Makes 8 servings.
