Glazed onions ingredients

  • 1 lb Boiling Onions
  • 2 T margarine
  • 1 T molasses
  • 2 t Prepared mustard
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Ground rosemary
  • 2 t Tamari

Cooking Glazed onions

1. Blanchi peeled onions for 5 minutes in boiling salted water.
2. Drain, pat dry & set aside.
3. melt margarine in a skillet.
4. Add remaining ingredients & stir till smooth.
5. Add onions & saute over low heat, occasionally basting onions with the glaze.
6. Turn onions over at least once.
7. After about 10 minutes the glaze will be reduced & the onions golden brown.
8. Serve immediately.
