Gingerbread waffles

- Yield:
Gingerbread waffles ingredients
- 1 c molasses
- 1⁄3 c butter or butter substitute
- 1 1⁄2 t Baking soda
- 1 Egg, well beaten
- 2 c Cake flour
- 2 t Ginger
- 1⁄2 t Salt
- 1⁄2 c Sour milk
Cooking Gingerbread waffles
1. Put butter and molasses in saucepan and heat to the boiling point.
2. Remove from fire and beat in baking soda.
3. Add milk and egg. Add dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
4. Mixi well.
5. Bakei in hot waffle iron.
6. These are delicious served hot with whipped cream and a sprinkling of nutmeg.
7. 6 waffles.
