Giant double chocolate chip cookies ingredients

  • 1⁄2 c -Shortening
  • 1 c Brown sugar - packed
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1⁄2 c Sour cream
  • 1 1⁄2 t vanilla
  • 3 c chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 3⁄4 c flour
  • 1⁄2 t Salt
  • 1⁄2 t baking powder
  • 1⁄2 t Baking soda
  • 1⁄2 c Walnuts, chopped

Cooking Giant double chocolate chip cookies

1. Heat oven to 350. Creami shortening with sugar.
2. Mixi in egg, sour cream, vanilla.
3. Melt 1 ½ cups chocolate chips and blend with creamed mixture.
4. Stiri flour with salt, baking powder, baking soda.
5. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, stirring until smooth.
6. Foldi in nuts and remaining chocolate chips.
7. Chill dough ½ hour.
8. For giant cookies, use ice cream scoop or ¼ cup dough for each cookie.
9. Place on 3 greased baking sheets.
10. Flatten slightly to 3 inches.
11. Bakei for 10 to 12 minutes or unti still slightly soft in the center.
12. Makes 16 giant cookies.
