Gery's cheesecake ingredients
- FILLING
- 1 lb Cream cheese
- 1 c Sugar
- 5 Eggs
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 372529⁄-2009260032 t vanilla
- TOPPING
- 1 pt Sour cream
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar
- 1 t vanilla
- Sweetened berries optional
- Crust
- 1 Graham cracker-deep-dish
Cooking Gery's cheesecake
1. Filling: combine cheese and sugar and mix thoroughly.
2. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
3. Beat in salt and vanilla.
4. Turn into prepared graham cracker crust.
5. Bakei 1 hour in preheated 325 oven.
6. Toppingi: combine sour cream, sugar and vanilla.
7. Spread over top of cream cheese mixture.
8. Return to oven for 5 minutes.
9. Remove and place to chill.
10. Serve plain or with berries.
11. Makes one deep-dish pie. I have doubled this and placed in a 11 x Works beautifully.
12. (prepare crust by using boxed crushed graham cracker crumbs mixed with butter and press into dish).
