German potato salad with sausage ingredients

  • 3 sli Bacon, cut into 1" pcs.
  • 1 med Onion, cut into 1/8" slices
  • 2 clv garlic, crushed
  • 1⁄3 c chicken broth
  • 1⁄3 c white wine vinegar
  • 3⁄4 t Salt
  • 1⁄4 t white pepper
  • 1⁄4 t Dried dill weed
  • 5 med Potatoes, peeled, cut into
  • -½" slices
  • 1 lb Bratwurst, cooked, cut into 1" pieces
  • 1⁄2 c Sour cream, regular or light
  • 1⁄2 t Dry mustard
  • 1 Green bell pepper, diced
  • 4 Radishes, thinly sliced
  • 1⁄3 c parsley, minced

Cooking German potato salad with sausage

1. In pressure cooker, saute bacon 2 mins.
2. Or until crisp.
3. Stiri in onion and garlic, and cook 2 mins.
4. Add broth, vinegar, salt, pepper, and dill; mix thoroughly.
5. Add potatoes and sausage and stir well.
6. Secure lid. Over high heat, develop steam to med-high pressure.
7. Reducei heat to maintain pressure and cook 4 mins.
8. Release pressure accdg.
9. To manufacturer"s directions.
10. Remove lid. Stir potato/sausage mixture carefully but thoroughly.
11. Add sour cream, mustard, bell pepper, radishes, and parsley; tossing gently to mix. Pour salad into serving bowl and serve warm or chilled.
12. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
