- 3 sli Bacon, cut into 1" pcs.
- 1 med Onion, cut into 1/8" slices
- 2 clv garlic, crushed
- c chicken broth
- c white wine vinegar
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 2483527⁄624973141 t white pepper
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Dried dill weed
- 5 med Potatoes, peeled, cut into
- -½" slices
- 1 lb Bratwurst, cooked, cut into 1" pieces
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Sour cream, regular or light
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Dry mustard
- 1 Green bell pepper, diced
- 4 Radishes, thinly sliced
- c parsley, minced
Cooking German potato salad with sausage
1. In pressure cooker, saute bacon 2 mins.
2. Or until crisp.
3. Stiri in onion and garlic, and cook 2 mins.
4. Add broth, vinegar, salt, pepper, and dill; mix thoroughly.
5. Add potatoes and sausage and stir well.
6. Secure lid. Over high heat, develop steam to med-high pressure.
7. Reducei heat to maintain pressure and cook 4 mins.
8. Release pressure accdg.
9. To manufacturer"s directions.
10. Remove lid. Stir potato/sausage mixture carefully but thoroughly.
11. Add sour cream, mustard, bell pepper, radishes, and parsley; tossing gently to mix. Pour salad into serving bowl and serve warm or chilled.
12. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
