Garlick low-cal vinaigrette ingredients

  • Separated and peeled
  • 1 T Red wine vinegar, mixed w/
  • 1⁄4 t Honey
  • 1 t Virgin olive oil
  • 1 T Safflower oil
  • 1⁄8 t Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Cooking Garlick low-cal vinaigrette

1. Put the garlic cloves into a small saucepan and pour enough water to cover them.
2. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer until garlic is quite tender.
3. about 15 minutes.
4. Increase the heat and reduce liquid to about 2 t; 3 or 4 more minutes.
5. Pour the contents into a small sieve over a bowl and with a wooden spoon, mash the garlic through the sieve into the bowl.
