Fruit soup ingredients

  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Dried Apricots
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Dried prunes
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Dried peaches
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Dried pears
  • 6 c Cold water
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 2 Lemon slices
  • 2 T Quick cooking tapioca
  • 3 T Sugar
  • 2 T Raisins
  • 1 T Dried Currants
  • 1 Green apple, pred & sliced

Cooking Fruit soup

1. Wash & soak the dried fruit for 30 minutes.
2. Pour fruit & water into a pressure cooker.
3. Cover, set control at 15 & cook over heat till pressure is reached.
4. Reducei heat & cook for 6 minutes.
5. Cool naturally for 5 minutes.
6. Run under cold water.
7. Add cinnamon, lemon & tapioca.
8. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
9. Add remaining ingredients.
10. Simmeri uncovered till fruit is tender but not mushy.
11. Refrigerate till chilled.
12. Can serve as a dessert.
