Fruit cookies #2 ingredients

  • 3 c Brown sugar
  • 1 c Lard
  • 3 ea EGGS
  • 4 T Milk, sweet
  • 1⁄2 t Salt
  • 1 t Baking soda
  • 1 t Cinnamon
  • 1 c Dates
  • or
  • 1 c Raisins
  • 1⁄2 c Nut meats
  • 5 c flour, sifted

1. Drop by teaspoonful on cookie tin, bake in moderate oven.
2. note: combine ingredients.
3. Moderate oven is 350 - 400°F.
