Fried Pork and Rice Cakes ingredients

  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb Ground pork
  • 2 c Rice
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 T Lime Juice
  • 1 T Lime zest
  • 1 T green peppercorn
  • 1 lemon grass heart
  • 2 garlic
  • 1 Eggs
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 2 T Brown sugar
  • 1 c Unseasoned Dry Bread Crumbs

Cooking Fried Pork and Rice Cakes

1. Combine pork, rice, cilantro, lime juice, lime zest, green peppercorns, lemon grass, garlic, egg, soy sauce, brown sugar and bread crumbs.
2. Form small cakes each consisting of 3-4 tablespoons of mixture.
3. Heat one tablespoon of oil at a time in a nonstick fry pan. Sautei pork and rice cakes until brown on both sides.
4. Serve immediately or prepare them in advance and reheat in 350° oven.
5. Serve with Thai Mangoi Relishi.
